Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask C.A. Johnson). They were the clear victors by a 54-28 margin over the McBee Panthers on Friday. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 33-22 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Stacey Isaac was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 324 yards and five TDs while completing 89.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 33 yards and one touchdown.

Isaac was just one part of a punishing run game: C.A. Johnson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. The Hornets are 2-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

C.A. Johnson's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for McBee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
