Volleyball Recap: Beachwood's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Beachwood came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Brooklyn Hurricanes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Beachwood took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-14.

Kaylin Hilliard paced Beachwood's offense, picking up ten kills. Hilliard got some help from Casie B and her 28 assists. Miriam Aschkenasy and Nylah Stallworth kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Lena Doan and Mia Glover certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Doan had ten assists and nine digs, while Glover had five digs.

Beachwood's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Brooklyn, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-17.

As of now, neither Beachwood nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
