Basketball Game Preview: North Miami Pioneers vs. Centennial Eagles

The North Miami Pioneers are taking a road trip to take on the Centennial Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

North Miami is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Goleman: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that North Miami blew Goleman out of the water with a 52-21 final score. The win was nothing new for the Pioneers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Meanwhile, Centennial had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 69-14 victory over the Bulldogs. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 53 point advantage.

Centennial's win came from a few key players North Miami will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jailyn Williams, who posted 19 points. Jakenzye McBride was another key player, putting up 14 points.

North Miami's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
