Baseball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside managed to slip by AHSTW the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 7-1 to the Vikings on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for AHSTW, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Riverside will challenge rival IKM/Manning at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Bulldogs have lost 12 straight at home (dating back to last season), while the Wolves have lost three on the road. Meanwhile, AHSTW is set to square off against their familiar foe Tri-Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
