Basketball Game Preview: Northwood Chargers vs. Seaforth Hawks

Having just played yesterday, the Northwood Chargers will head out on the road to face off against the Seaforth Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Northwood is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Graham: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Northwood blew Graham out of the water with a 65-26 final score. The victory was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won five contests in a row.

Meanwhile, Seaforth had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Jets, posting a 62-12 win. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Jets are ranked 490th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northwood's record now sits at 18-6. As for Seaforth, their record is now 22-2.

Northwood suffered a grim 54-28 defeat to Seaforth in their previous matchup back in January. Can Northwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
