Fannin County won the last time they faced Coosa, and Bryson Cole did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rebels were the clear victors by a 35-15 margin over the Eagles on Friday for which the team can thank Cole, who rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 109.2 rushing yards per game.

Although Coosa took the loss, they still got scores from Timbo Mitchell and Jaylen Hazzard.

The victory made it two in a row for Fannin County and bumps their season record up to 2-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.5 points over those games. As for Coosa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fannin County will welcome Dade County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will be up against the Wolverines' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Coosa, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Gordon Central at 7:30 p.m. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
