Soccer Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Foothill was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Tehachapi on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell just short of the Arroyo Grande Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Foothill of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Josue Chavez and Benjamin Davila scored both of Foothill's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Foothill's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Arroyo Grande, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Foothill will head out to challenge Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Highland will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Foothill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arroyo Grande, they will take on Santa Ana in a tournament on Thursday.
