Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Slidell). They blew past the Lutcher Bulldogs 80-57 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Slidell had a senior duo take command as Jerry Birdlow dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds and Colby Faciane went 5-for-9 en route to 15 points and five boards. Faciane also set a new season-high mark in three-point shooting accuracy with 60%. Another player making a difference was Jalen Lucas, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Slidell's victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Slidell and L.W. Higgins will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Lutcher, they will square off against Donaldsonville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
