It's playoff time, and Stearns had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Bucksport Golden Bucks, posting a 44-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Minutemen, who have now won seven games by 30 points or more so far this season.

Stearns pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.3 points on average over those games. As for Bucksport, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Stearns will take on Dexter on the 8th. The Minutemen will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.71 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Bucksport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
