Matthew McKinley gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Wednesday. Nobody could stop him as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

McKinley's effort led Jackson Prep over Jackson Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
