Soccer Recap: Bishop Verot Gets the Win

Bishop Verot won against Aubrey Rogers last Thursday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Sarasota Sailors 2-1.

Katie Pelkofski was the driving force of Bishop Verot's attack as she scored both of Bishop Verot's goals, bringing her season total up to six goals.

Bishop Verot's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sarasota, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Verot will welcome Barron Collier at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sarasota, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palmetto at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
