Volleyball Recap: Richfield Comes Up Short

Richfield and Delano squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Richfield had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kaelyn Wittwer had an outrageously good game for Delano as she had 11 digs and eight aces. Those eight aces gave Wittwer a new career-high.

Richfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Delano, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 28-2.

Richfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Delano, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Jordan on the 24th.
