Softball Recap: Carrabec Comes Up Short

Carrabec couldn't beat Noble on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Cobras came up short against the Knights, falling 15-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 on Saturday.

Madison Wyman was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Amiya Tibbetts, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Carrabec's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Noble, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carrabec will host Forest Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Noble, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Marshwood at 4:00 p.m.
