With a playoff win on the line, Mt. Enterprise rose to the challenge on Friday. They snuck past the Bremond Tigers with a 64-58 victory. The Wildcats' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Kaegan Ash produced another solid performance rushing for 501 yards and six TDs while picking up 10.7 yards per carry, and also picking up 102 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last 23 times he's played.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mt. Enterprise was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 537 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 201 rushing yards in 21 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Bremond's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sam Kasowski, who threw for 404 yards and seven TDs while completing 73.1% of his passes, and Jeramiah Morgan, who picked up 213 receiving yards and four scores. A healthy portion of Kasowski's aerial production (95 yards to be exact) also went to Xavier Clark, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Mt. Enterprise's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Bremond, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.

Looking ahead, Mt. Enterprise will face off against Shiner on Friday. The Comanches' defense has only allowed 11.2 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. Bremond does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
