Baseball Recap: Six Straight Home Victories for Bryant

There's no place like home for Bryant, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Baker Hornets by a score of 8-4 on Thursday. For the Hurricanes, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 win the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Bryant pushed their record up to 13-9 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Baker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Bryant will have a chance to go back-to-back against Baker: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
