Basketball Game Preview: River Bluff Gators vs. Brookland-Cayce Bearcats

The River Bluff Gators will square off against the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. River Bluff is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

River Bluff's tournament run continued when they took on Wando on Wednesday. The Gators fell 51-41 to the Warriors. While the Gators didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 10-4 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Brookland-Cayce hadn't done well against Orangeburg-Wilkinson recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bearcats skirted past the Bruins 67-64. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bearcats have posted since January 9th.

The victory got Brookland-Cayce back to even at 1-1. As for River Bluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
