Soccer Recap: Frederick Gunn Takes a Loss

Frederick Gunn came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-1 to the Greens Farms Academy Dragons. Frederick Gunn were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Greens Farms Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Frederick Gunn's goal came courtesy of Gus Worden, who's now up to two this season.

Frederick Gunn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-2. As for Greens Farms Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1-2.

Coming up, Frederick Gunn will challenge Greenwich Country Day at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Greenwich Country Day will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Frederick Gunn surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greens Farms Academy, they will face off against Tournament Opponent at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
