North Fork had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lake County Panthers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Miners, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

North Fork easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-20.

Alyssa Lovelace paced North Fork's offense, picking up six kills. Lovelace got some help from Saydee Allen and her 17 assists. Ava Stucker controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

North Fork's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Lake County, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-19.

North Fork wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Salida on the 1st. As for Lake County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Monte Vista on the 1st.
