Baseball Game Preview: Forest Park Panthers vs. M.L. King Lions

For the second straight game, Forest Park will face off against M.L. King. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Forest Park Panthers face off against M.L. King Lions at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.

Forest Park will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating M.L. King, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Panthers walked away with a 12-7 win over the Lions on Wednesday.

Andre Turnipseed was a standout: he scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jacoby Hendricks, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Forest Park now has a winning record of 10-9. As for M.L. King, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.
