Jenuel Velazquez posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
