On Thursday Thomas Castro tossed five innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. The effort also marked the fewest walks (one) Castro has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than two walks. On the season, he has an ERA of 2.88 over 17 innings pitched.

Castro and King's Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sequoia at 4:00 p.m. on April 9.
