Decker McDonald put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Monday. He struck out four batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

McDonald and Naperville Central will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hinsdale Central at 2:00 p.m. on the 24th.
