The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Cowboys are ranked 874th).

Meanwhile, after only 12 points in their last contest, Yorktown made sure to put some points up on the board against Agua Dulce on Thursday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Longhorns with a sharp 58-34 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won three in a row.

Granger better keep an eye on Brody Metting. He was instrumental in Yorktown's win, rushing for 313 yards and five TDs while picking up 14.9 yards per carry, and also throwing for 102 yards and one touchdown.
