There's no place like home for Pueblo County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They really took it to the Pueblo South Colts for the full four quarters, racking up a 35-6 victory. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 29 points or more this season.

Brody Harrison was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 138 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 52 yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Pueblo County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 195 rushing yards in seven consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Pueblo County's defense stepped up as well, laying out Caeden Herrera six times. Leading the way was Luca Tucci with five sacks. Several Colts players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Herrera, who threw for 216 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 91 yards. 125 of Herrera's passing yards were hauled in by Jake Pisciotta.

Pueblo County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.7 points on average over those games. As for Pueblo South, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-2.
