Softball Recap: Haralson County Takes a Loss

Haralson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Calvary Christian Knights.

Haralson County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Lane Coy, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was Coy's first of the season.

Haralson County's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Calvary Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-2.

Coming up, Haralson County is taking a road trip to square off against Model at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Calvary Christian, they will take on Cairo in a tournament on Saturday.
