Volleyball Game Preview: St. Peter's Prep Marauders vs. Union City Soaring Eagles

The St. Peter's Prep Marauders will head out to take on the Union City Soaring Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Union City took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Peter's Prep, who comes in off a win.

St. Peter's Prep is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since May 6, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past Memorial 2-1.

Meanwhile, Union City didn't have quite enough to beat Bayonne on Friday and fell 2-1. The Soaring Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bees recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The win got St. Peter's Prep back to even at 1-1. As for Union City, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

St. Peter's Prep couldn't quite get it done against Union City in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Marauders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
