Soccer Game Preview: Ridgewood vs. West Chicago + How To Watch

The Ridgewood Rebels will face off against the West Chicago Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Ridgewood has given up an average of 3.3 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Ridgewood's offense. They came up short against Wheaton Academy on Thursday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Ridgewood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 271st, while Wheaton Academy are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, West Chicago entered their tilt with Glenbard East on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Ridgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for West Chicago, their win bumped their record up to 11-5-3.
