Recap: Chilton Christian Academy Patriots vs. Glen Iris Baptist Swordsmen
The Chilton Christian Academy Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Glen Iris Baptist 64-20 at home. Winning may never get old, but Chilton Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Chilton Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Milly Avery, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. Avery hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Emma Camp was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with four steals.
Chilton Christian Academy's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.92 points. As for Glen Iris Baptist, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Chilton Christian Academy will take on Trinity Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Glen Iris Baptist, they will be playing at home against Victory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Victory Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 back in December of 2023.
