Caledonia-Mumford is 8-2 against Pavilion since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Raiders will challenge the Golden Gophers at 4:30 p.m. Caledonia-Mumford will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Caledonia-Mumford had just enough and edged out Perry 7-6.

Shea Drazkowski was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Briana Lynn, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Caledonia-Mumford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .364 or higher in five consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Pavilion came into Wednesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past York 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Golden Gophers have posted since May 7, 2024.

Caledonia-Mumford pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Pavilion, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Caledonia-Mumford came out on top in a nail-biter against Pavilion when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 12-11. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
