Softball Recap: St. Luke's Wins Going Away Against Frederick Gunn

St. Luke got themselves on the board against Frederick Gunn on Monday, but Frederick Gunn never followed suit. They blew past the Highlanders 22-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Storm.

Lucia Biasotti made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Biasotti was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Ellie Fatsi was a standout: she scored four runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Keira Penn, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.

St. Luke's now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, St. Luke's and Frederick Gunn will both be playing Holy Child the next time they take the field. The Storm will head out to face the Gryphons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Highlanders will host them at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
