Softball Recap: Burnet Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cedar Creek on Friday, Burnet came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Legacy Ranch Wranglers by a score of 4-3 on Saturday.

Burnet's loss dropped their record down to 10-5-2. As for Legacy Ranch, they moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Burnet wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-10 defeat against Harker Heights on the 28th. As for Legacy Ranch, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against LBJ Austin at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th.
