Softball Recap: Montevallo Has No Trouble Against Comer

Montevallo lost to Comer back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Montevallo Bulldogs blew past the Comer Tigers 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Montevallo and bumps their season record up to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Comer, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Montevallo will head out to take on Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Comer, they will be playing at home against Thorsby at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
