Soccer Game Preview: Truman vs. Bronx High School of Science

The Truman Mustangs will face off against the Bronx High School of Science Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Truman has given up an average of 3.6 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Truman fell victim to Monroe Campus and their airtight defense last Monday. They came up short against Monroe Campus, falling 7-0. Truman haven't had much luck with Monroe Campus recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Bronx High School of Science kept a clean sheet against Lehman on Monday. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. Fans of Bronx High School of Science have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Bronx High School of Science's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Truman, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Truman suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Bronx High School of Science when the teams last played back in September of 2023. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
