Football Recap: American Eagles vs. Encinal Jets
After flying high against San Lorenzo last Saturday, American came back down to earth. The American Eagles took a blow against the Encinal Jets on Thursday, falling 63-0. The Eagles lost against the Jets in their previous head to head back in September of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 46-6 score last time.

American's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Encinal, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. American will square off against Arroyo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arroyo will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something American surely won't give up without a fight. As for Encinal, they will take on Mt. Eden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Encinal is facing Mt. Eden at the right time seeing as Mt. Eden is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
