Basketball Recap: Inglemoor Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Reuhen Bhalod and Aman Sterling

Inglemoor suffered their closest defeat since January 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Foster Bulldogs by a score of 79-76. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-72 back in December of 2024.

Inglemoor's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aman Sterling, who went 9 of 15 en route to 26 points, and Reuhen Bhalod, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 boards. Bhalod is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 32 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Eric Battulga, who posted eight points and six boards.

Even though they lost, Inglemoor smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Foster to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kebba Sanneh, who went 8 for 10 on his way to 26 points and six steals. Sanneh is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Myjeer Rigney was another key player, going 9 of 17 en route to 22 points and four steals.

Inglemoor's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Foster, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Inglemoor has already played their next game (against Tyee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Foster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-56 loss against Liberty on the 16th.
