Volleyball Recap: Grove Christian School Wins Going Away Against St. Michael the Archangel

Grove Christian School won the last time they faced St. Michael the Archangel and things went their way on Monday too. The Falcons blew past the Warriors 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Grove Christian School took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-8, 25-13.

Virginia Lyles paced Grove Christian School's offense, picking up 12 kills. Lyles got some help from Anna Elban and her 32 assists. Madison Turner controlled things from the service line, finishing with 15 aces.

Grove Christian School's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Grove Christian School is set to challenge their familiar foe Guardian Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Michael the Archangel will face off against rival The Carmel School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
