Volleyball Game Preview: Canton Little Giants vs. Limestone Rockets

Canton is 0-10 against Limestone since March of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Little Giants will head out to square off against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, Canton came up short against Pekin and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18.

Limestone extended their road winning streak to ten games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Khloe Stear. The Rockets walked away with a 2-0 win over Pekin on Tuesday thanks in part to Stear, who had 15 digs and three assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19.

Limestone's victory bumped their record up to 32-2. As for Canton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-24.

Canton couldn't quite get it done against Limestone when the teams last played back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Little Giants avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
