Basketball Game Preview: New Albany Bulldogs vs. Ingomar Falcons

New Albany hasn't had much luck against Ingomar recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

While New Albany didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past West Union 51-22 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Lynleigh Tatum produced another solid effort almost dropping a double-double with 12 points and nine steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Dre'Anna Jones, who went 5-for-7 en route to 11 points and five steals.

Meanwhile, Ingomar got the win against North Pontotoc on Tuesday by a conclusive 51-29.

New Albany's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Ingomar, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.

New Albany took a serious blow against Ingomar in their previous matchup back in January, falling 66-15. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bulldogs were down 50-9.
