Savannah came out on top against Maryville on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run third inning. The Savages were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Spoofhounds. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Savages this season.

With the win, Savannah broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Maryville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Savannah and Maryville will both be playing Chillicothe the next time they take the field. The Savages will head out to face the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Spoofhounds will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
