Football Game Preview: James F. Byrnes Rebels vs. Dutch Fork Silver Foxes + How To Watch

The James F. Byrnes Rebels are taking a road trip to take on the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

James F. Byrnes is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They strolled past Rock Hill with points to spare, taking the game 37-21. The victory was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on four straight.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Tre Segarra and Jacobi Fuller. Segarra gained 146 total yards and two touchdowns while Fuller rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Fuller a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Dutch Fork was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Boiling Springs 42-7. The win continues a trend for the Silver Foxes in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

James F. Byrnes better keep an eye on Jaxon Knotts. He was instrumental in Dutch Fork's win, throwing for 311 yards and three TDs while completing 75.9% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score. Kye Fulton did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 119 receiving yards.

Dutch Fork didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mario Anderson and Taddrick Gibson.

James F. Byrnes was dealt a bruising 56-25 loss at the hands of Dutch Fork in their previous matchup back in September of 2021. Thankfully for the Rebels, Davin Patterson (who threw for 267 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 46 yards and a pair of scores) won't be suiting up this time.
