Weaver entered their tilt with Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed past the Patriots to the tune of 34-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Beavers just coasted through the last quarter.

Weaver's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kadain Claflin-Coy, who threw for 285 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 85 yards and one TD. The Beavers' leading receiver Jaiden Booth was Claflin-Coy's top target yet again, picking up 175 receiving yards and one score, while also punching in one rushing score.

Weaver didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Johnathan Mitchell.

Weaver's record now sits at 5-2. As for Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Weaver will head out to challenge CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton, they will venture away from home to take on Haddam-Killingworth at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
