Westfall extended the longest winning streak in Scioto Valley this week by beating Zane Trace, 34-19. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.

The Pioneers moved up to 512 from 551 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Zane Trace climbed the ranks as a result of falling to Westfall 34-19.

Piketon's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Issac Brabson threw for 336 and four touchdowns and Colten William had 110 yards receiving. On the ground Stephen Royster chipped in 84 yards. Evan Ferguson helped Piketon's passing attack out by catching five balls for 97 yards.

The Redstreaks' Brabson and William have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Brabson has thrown for 1752 yards this season, while William has 31 catches for 576 yards. John Vanderpool from Unioto leads the league in rushing with 874 yards.

A big matchup in Scioto Valley this week will be when Huntington takes on Paint Valley. As it stands, the Huntsmen are in third, while the Bearcats are in fourth.

Gary Peters' team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,281 from 10,187. The improvement was the result of 34-19 victory over the Pioneers last week.
