Softball Recap: Kimball Takes a Loss

Kimball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Conrad Chargers, falling 25-10. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Kimball's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Conrad, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

After both having extra time off, Kimball and North Dallas will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on March 19th. North Dallas will aim to continue their five-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. Conrad will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th. One thing working in Conrad's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
