Volleyball Recap: James River Comes Up Short

James River lost against Alleghany back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, James River sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-21, 15-25, 15-7.

James River's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Alleghany, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

James River has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Carroll County on the 30th. As for Alleghany, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Riverheads on the 30th.
