Nottoway won the last time they faced Randolph-Henry and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars walked away with a 22-14 victory over the Statesmen. The 22-point effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Although Randolph-Henry took the loss, they still got scores from Alexander Duffey and Alexander Gee.

Nottoway's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Randolph-Henry, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nottoway will challenge Buckingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cougars 13.2, the Knights 14.3) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Randolph-Henry, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
