Connellsville has gone a perfect 5-0 against Uniontown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Falcons will host the Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Connellsville and five for Uniontown.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Connellsville faced off against University on Friday. The Falcons were beaten by the Hawks 52-12. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 303rd in Pennsylvania, while the Hawks are ranked 13th in West Virginia).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Christian Thomas, who picked up 92 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Uniontown fell victim to Northern Garrett and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Huskies, falling 38-0.

Uniontown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Connellsville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Connellsville took their win against Uniontown in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 27-6 score. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
