Wall Township won against Donovan Catholic on Thursday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Crimson Knights had just enough and edged out the Toms River East Raiders 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crimson Knights have posted since April 9th.

Wall Township has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Toms River East, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
