Recap: Milford Christian vs. Calvary Christian Spartans
Milford Christian lost against the Calvary Christian Spartans back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Milford Christian fell 47-40 to Calvary Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Milford Christian has scored all season.
Wyatt Schlatter continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Calvary Christian, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 steals. Those 13 steals set a new season-high mark for him. Philip Davie was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Milford Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Calvary Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Dominion Academy the next time they take the court. Calvary Christian will host Dominion Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while Milford Christian will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
