Preview: Mobile Christian Leopards vs. Bryant Hurricanes
The Mobile Christian Leopards will play host again and welcome the Bryant Hurricanes, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Mobile Christian came up short against Murphy and fell 62-54. While losing is never fun, Mobile Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Murphy is ranked 45th).
Meanwhile, Bryant's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They fell just short of Moss Point by a score of 48-45.
Mobile Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season. As for Bryant, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-8.
Mobile Christian couldn't quite finish off Bryant in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 and fell 74-72. Can Mobile Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
