Basketball Recap: Phelps Starts Season with Win at Home

Phelps gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 72-71 win over the Betsy Layne Bobcats. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 93-56 victory the Bobcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.
